Another view of the mine that the POWs from Omine Machi worked at while being held in Japan.  The mine was owned by the Mitsui Company and was the largest coal mine in the Hiroshima Prefecture.

In this picture, the POWs at Omine Machi Camp are shown.  Sgt. William Alford, Pfc. James Bird, Pfc. Tansell Bruce, S/Sgt. Morris Collier, Pvt. Edward DeGroot, Pvt. Thomas Garland, Pfc. William Hauser, Pvt. Lewis Kirby, and Pvt. Ralph Shaffer,  Sgt. Owen Sandmire, Pfc. Donald Schultz, Pfc. Lawrence Sears, and Sgt. Kenneth Thompson, of the 192nd were  POWs in the camp.
Members of the 194th in the camp were: Pvt. Wayne George,  Sgt. Ralph Hollingsworth, Cpl. Frank Knapp, Cpl. William Mattson, and Pvt. Henry Turner,
