From left to right, Pvt. Eugene Greenfield, Pvt. William Mastic, Pvt. Olen Gilson, and Pvt. Robert Kidd pose for this photo while attending radio school at Fort Knox, Kentucky, in 1941.  All four men were from East Liverpool, Ohio.  Greenfield and Gilson, who were good friends both went to the Philippines as members of the 192nd Tank Battalion.
Mastic and Kidd did not go to the Philippines.
