This photo was taken two weeks after the end of the war at Niigata #5B POW Camp in Japan.  The clothing was dropped to the former POWs by B-29s along with food.

This Stuart Tank is a later version of the the M3A1 that the 194th and 192nd Tank Battalions had in the Philippine Islands.  In addition, the tanks in the Philippines did not have a "Star" on their turrets.
