The staff sergeant, a cousin of T/4 Owen Hewlett, visits his grave at the new American Military Cemetery at Manila.
After a number of years of fighting with the military, Owen Hewlett's parents were successful at getting his remains returned to Kentucky.

T/4 Owen Hewlett was reburied in Kentucky after his parents were successful getting his remains returned home and reburied in East Lawn Cemetery, Hanson, Kentucky, in 1948.
