        - prop came off and hit stabilizer damaging it

        - left formation 35 miles from Stuttgart

            - plane could not keep up with formation 

            - plane attacked by German fighters 

            - six crew members bailed out - Malesherebes, Boulencourt, Coudray, France

            - four members of crew did not survive 

    - crashed: Voves, France
